OUR MISSION: TO PROCLAIM + EMBODY
THE LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST IN THE CITY + THE WORLD

The Congregational Care ministries at Eastbrook provide care, support, and counseling in the hope of seeing people grow and change in the power of the Holy Spirit.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

DIVORCE CARE

DivorceCare is a ministry offering real hope in the person of Jesus Christ through encouragement, practical information, and sharing. DivorceCare meets weekly for 13 weeks, providing an ongoing support team and equipping participants with practical tools to navigate the issues surrounding separation or divorce. We offer DivorceCare several times a year.

DIVORCE CARE FOR KIDS (DC4K)

Are your children angry, hurt, and confused about your separation or divorce? DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) is a safe, fun place where your children can learn skills that will help them heal. DC4K groups blend, games, music, stories, videos and discussion to help kids process the divorce and move forward. Groups meet weekly for 13 weeks and are designed for children ages 5-12. We offer DC4K once a year.

ONE TO ONE CARE (Stephen Ministry)

A confidential ministry that pairs trained Care Givers with Care Recipients to provide long-term support. If you are going through a rough time — whether because of job loss, divorce, loneliness, cancer, death of a loved one or something else — please consider asking us for your own One to One Care Giver. These supervised individuals will meet with you privately and confidentially on a weekly basis to listen, care, encourage, support, and remind you of Christ’s presence in your life.

GRIEFSHARE

If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found that there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. That’s the reason for GriefShare, a special seminar and support group for people grieving the death of someone close. This group is sponsored by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. GriefShare is a non-denominational group and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics. We offer GriefShare several times a year.

SHIFT

When the “shifts” of life occur, the aftermath is unpredictable and rarely stable. SHIFT at Eastbrook Church is a grief support program for kids & teens (Grades 5-12) who have experienced the loss of a family member, friend, or loved one to come together with trained leaders to talk and learn about loss, and find hope and healing in Christ.

LIVING WATERS

Living Waters provides a safe, confidential environment for those seeking ongoing healing and wholeness in sexual and relational issues. This discipleship and prayer ministry addresses the roots of brokenness. Anyone committed to deeper intimacy with Christ, self, and others is welcome; some have found it especially helpful with struggles including (but not limited to): fear, insecurity, co-dependency, pornography, effects of abuse, promiscuity, gender identity issues, and unwanted same-sex attraction.

LIVING WELL SEMINARS

Topical seminars and workshops for the whole congregation to promote healthy living. Topics include financial health, grandparenting tips, caring for aging loved ones with dementia, blood pressure screenings, preparing for retirement, dealing with cancer, understanding Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, and more.
