This course is about the foundations for Christian leadership. We will examine those core values and elements that lie at the center of the life of the effective Christian leader, and how they are worked out in ministry. We will explore the meaning of transformational leadership as taught and exemplified in Scripture. And we will examine competencies needed to manage organizational development and growth, challenge the status quo, inspire shared vision and mission, empower others to act, model ministry and encourage the hearts of others. We will examine personal and interpersonal dimensions of our own lives as we seek to strengthen our integrity, competency, and credibility as godly leaders.
