Club 56

“And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.” (Luke 2:52 )

As the children of Eastbrook Church grow, we encourage them to ask questions and study the Bible so their faith walk will grow as well.

Sunday Services

On Sunday mornings, Club 56 kids will pray, read Scripture, discuss what happened and learn how to apply Scripture to their lives. Hands-on activities and projects help to reinforce learning.

FIRST SERVICE (8 AM)

5th & 6th graders are encouraged to worship with their families in the Worship Hall from 8-8:30 am. At this time, they are dismissed to participate in the C.R.E.D.O. choir in Room 006 (Little Theater) during first service. Here, children learn to worship God by learning His word and singing His praises. Learn more about Children’s choirs here.

SECOND SERVICE (9:30 AM)

During second Service, 5th & 6th graders are encouraged to check in at 9:30 am at Club 56, located on the 2nd floor of the A Wing. 5th gradestuents study a survey of the Bible, with an emphasis on the Bible as ONE story—God’s story—on earth. 6th grade students study the basics of the Christian faith, with special emphasis on baptism and communion as a part of the 6th grade Faith Marker.

THIRD SERVICE (11 AM)

During third service, 5th & 6th graders are encouraged to worship with their families in the Worship Hall from 11-11:30 am, after which they will be dismissed to Club 56 Prays in Room A006 (Little Theater). Club 56 Prays is a time of prayer, and learning how to pray.

Communion & Baptism:
6th Grade Faith Marker

At twelve years of age students wrestle with many questions about faith. They begin to move from blindly accepting their parents’ faith to taking ownership of their faith. 6th graders are encouraged to ask tough questions and to investigate who God is as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. A part of their preparation for Communion and Baptism they are asked to write about who God is in their lives and share this testimony with others. Students who have made a commitment to follow Jesus and want to participate in Communion and Baptism are then given this opportunity the first weeks of June.

Club 56 on Wednesday Nights

On the 1st and 3rd Wednesday nights of each month, Route 34 and Club 56 students build relationships with others in their church community and are encouraged to bring friends! Look for events throughout the year such as Gift Making Night, Pinewood Derbies, and more!  Join us for these exciting evenings.
