On Sunday mornings, Route 34 kids will spend six weeks on each unit based on a person from the Bible. During the course of the year, they will pray, read Scripture, discuss what happened and learn how to apply Scripture to their lives. Hands-on activities and projects help to reinforce learning.
3rd and 4th graders are encouraged to worship with their families in the Worship Hall from 8-8:30 am. At this time, they are dismissed to participate in the C.R.E.D.O. choir in Room A006 (Little Theater) during first service. Here, children learn to worship God by learning His word and singing His praises. Learn more about Children’s choirs here.
During second Service, 3rd & 4th Graders are encouraged to check in at 9:30 am at Route 34, in Room A006 (Little Theater), where they will enjoy a large-group activity. After large-group time, they will break out by grade and gender into small groups in Rooms 007-012, 210 & 212.
During third service, 3rd and 4th graders are encouraged to worship with their families in the Worship Hall from 11-11:30 am, after which they will be dismissed to Pray Kids in Room A005 (Mess Hall). Pray Kids is a time of learning how to pray for all kids in grades 1-4.
For 4th graders a six week unit on the value of God’s word is offered during Sunday School. The students learn the scripture passage Psalm 119:9-18. They recite this passage one weekend in early spring during the worship services. A celebration of their growing ability to have God time is celebrated during that same weekend with a dessert reception after the Saturday service.
On the 1st and 3rd Wednesday nights of each month, Route 34 and Club 56 students build relationships with others in their church community and are encouraged to bring friends! Look for events throughout the year such as Regatta Races, Pinewood Derbies, and more! Join us for these exciting evenings.
