2022 Summer Camps at Eastbrook span two weeks: July 11-15 (Week One) and July 18-22 (Week Two). Each week offers camp options in the morning (from 9 am-12 pm) as well as the afternoon (1-4 pm), based on grade level. The grade your child will be entering in fall—the next school year—is the grade to use when considering their camp options. Scroll down to view your child’s options for this summer!
Our staff is a hard-working, fun group of people. Our camp counselors are Christian high school or college students who are well trained by our children’s ministry staff, and have had input to planning our afternoon camp programming.
We also offer older (Grades 6-8) students the opportunity to help us with Vacation Bible School (VBS). Click here to learn more and details about how to apply.
Camps are held rain or shine. We will be indoors with alternative activities if the weather infringes on our plans. Be sure to have your child dress for the weather and the activities. We do get wet, sweaty and messy! Please put sunscreen or insect repellent on your child before bringing them to camp.
We will serve a snack every morning and afternoon. If your child has food allergies, be sure to note this on the registration form, under “Allergies and Special Concerns”.
Kids attending both a morning and an afternoon camp need to register for “Lunch Hour”. This is a supervised lunch and playground period, and the cost is $10 per week. Please pack lunches, labeled with your child’s name.
We want every child to have a great time at camp, and to be included in all activities to the best of their abilities. If your child requires special assistance, please let us know by describing their needs in the “Allergies or Special Concerns” area of the registration form. Also, contact Laure Herlinger, Sr. Director of Next Gen Ministries, with any questions or to help us prepare to work with your child.
Please be sure to only sign your children up for the camps they are eligible to participate in. The grade your child will be entering in fall—the next school year—is the grade to use. Most camps have enrollment limits and campers will be processed in the order they are received.
Camp fees are $40 for each camp (Exception: Camp Onward is $70 per week). Lunch hour—for those registered for both a morning and afternoon camp of the same week—is $10/week. Registration is open until camp is full, up until the first day of camp. You may register the first day of camp if there are openings. Refunds will not be given, as materials and staffing are arranged based on the number of registered campers.
We do our best to provide a safe environment for all of our campers and workers. For this reason, we ask that you do not drop off your child earlier than 5 minutes before camp begins (morning or afternoon). VBS check-in will take place on the landing just outside the Worship Hall (Enter through lobby doors). Check-in for all other camps will take place on the north side of the Eastbrook Academy building (between school and playground). Our electronic check-in stations will print out a name tag for your child and a claim ticket for you or your caregiver. At the end of every session of camp, please pick up your child on the playground, and sign out with your child’s counselor. Please inform staff if anyone else will be picking up your child from camp.
At Spark Studios VBS, we will explore how God, as our Creator, has uniquely designed us for His purposes. Each day includes rotations of Worship, Bible Study, crafts, games, and more!
