At Eastbrook Church, we take seriously Revelation 7:9-10 which says:
“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throneand before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:
“Salvation belongs to our God,
who sits on the throne,
and to the Lamb.”
The church of Jesus Christ is a diverse church, and so at Eastbrook, we celebrate Global Gateways a few times each year, to celebrate the diversity of Christ’s Church.
Each Global Gateway, we celebrate a different culture in two ways:
- By curating a worship service using various expressions of worship (i.e. music, dance, scripture readings, drama, media, etc.) to celebrate this culture
- By partaking in a communal meal together wherein we fellowship with each other, pray for the highlighted culture, and learn more about it.
