If you’re visiting for the first time, you will need to fill out a Family Registration Form. Use this form to register your family/add a child with the Eastbrook Church Children’s Ministry. You can click here to download the form and bring it with you, or fill it out when you get here.
We use a secure electronic check-in system that connects with our church database, CCB, to sign your child in to the Nursery. We also ask that you leave your cell phone number and put your phone on vibrate so you can be contacted if necessary. When you pick up your child, you will check them out using CCB.
All Eastbrook NextGen events are led by staff and volunteers who have been through an extensive application process, background checks, and training. We maintain strict teacher-to-child ratios to ensure safe care. For health standards, children must be free from fever or symptoms of contagious disease for 24 hours. Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have.
Pass on a legacy of faith to the next generation. We are looking for people to invest in the lives of children by teaching Sunday school, being a classroom helper, or a check-in greeter. Get started by filling out the volunteer application at eastbrook.org/nextgenapp.
By God’s design children develop from infancy through adolescence in predictable patterns of physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual growth. As a church community we want to recognize our children’s spiritual milestones, and provide them with incremental steps toward a deeper, closer walk with Jesus. Our FaithMarkers require the cooperative effort of home and church, and they involve times of teaching and celebration.
In our Child Dedication ceremonies, held during Sunday morning worship services three times a year, parents bring their children forward to dedicate them to the Lord. The biblical basis for child dedication can be found in the example of Hannah dedicating her son, Samuel to God’s service (1 Samuel 1:27-28).
This apple-themed open-house event welcomes new 2-year olds to Preschool Sunday School. Held the day before Promotion Sunday, kids are introduced to Sunday School and the practices of Bible learning, worship, and prayer.
This spring-time event uses signs of spring—new life in the natural world—to begin conversations with children about life, death, and resurrection.
Eastbrook’s NextGen Ministry serves children in our congregation grouped by age. Children progress from Littles (Birth-K4) to Kids (K5-Grade 4), followed by Middle (Grades 5-8) and High (Grades 9-12).
The Special Needs Resource Team exists to make the gospel and our NextGen ministries accessible to all children and students. Through inclusive programming, carefully-crafted accommodation plans, and one-on-one-buddy pairs, the team works to support our differently-abled friends, and encourage all families that no matter their child’s needs, Eastbrook can be a place for them to know the love of Jesus and find community.
Eastbrook’s Foster/Adoption Support Team (FAST) ministry provides prayer, encouragement, fellowship, education, and resources to families that God has given the privilege of joining in His work by fostering and adopting His children. We meet the second and fourth Sunday of each month in Room B225 from 9:30-10:45 am, with activities ranging from a book study to guest speakers to special family events.
