What are your responsibilities at Eastbrook?
As Sr. Director in the Worship & Prayer Department, I ensure that the worship during our weekend services reflect the diverse nature of our congregation. I provide pastoral care to volunteers in the worship ministry, including connecting with all of them to be sure they are faring well spiritually. I form worship teams and oversee the training of new leaders. I also oversee several aspects of prayer at Eastbrook. This means that I ensure that Eastbrook remains a house of prayer.
What do you love about what you do?
I love to worship God. It brings me joy to worship him and see his children worship him as commanded in scriptures. I love to sing and shout his praises because Jesus is worthy of all praise. It is in him that we live and move and have our being. I love to spend time in the presence of the Lord. Because, in his presence, there is fullness of joy.
If I had a free afternoon, you would find me… listening to worship music and singing
