The Origins of the Bible
October 10, 2018
This week, we begin an exploration of the Bible by seeing how our current canon came into being. This will provide context for how we understand and view the Bible. Students should leave understanding the historical value of the collection, but also working through the questions of how a book crafted and assembled by humans has become so powerful and considered inspired. We must confront the reality that God used flawed humans for such a holy task, and the implications thereof.
