Sabbath Day: Saturday, February 20

Over the course of the last few days, we have been reading challenging words from Jesus: “take up your cross,” “deny yourself,” “follow me,” “I did not come to bring peace but a sword,” “eat my flesh and drink my blood.” 

These last three days have reminded us that Jesus calls us to radical change. Take a moment to look at the cover of the “Becoming Real” devotional booklet. You will see a very small pilgrim, climbing a hill, journeying upwards. But the peaks and valleys depicted here reflect that the journey of faith is not linear. What does this bring to mind from your own life of faith? Where are you in your journey with Jesus right now? What is He calling you to do in response to this week’s readings?
