Construction Update · February 1

We are happy to announce that construction is underway in our back/West parking lot! As a part of this project, the West Building (whose pieces have been sitting in the parking lot for the past few months) will be constructed and the Food Pantry (located in the back garage) is being remodeled. We are so excited about the number of ways that this project will expand our campus to expand our ministry—both at Eastbrook Church and at Eastbrook Academy. We expect work to continue for approximately 8 weeks.

This week, here is the progress we have seen:

• removed the pavement where the West Building will be located and installed gravel—the gravel will stay in this place as long as the West Building is there
• the utility trench is being dug and connected to the city water
• a new fence has been installed to help us stay in safe areas

Prayer points:

• keep this project in your prayers, that it will stay on track and be completed before Easter
• pray for safety for all involved
• pray over the ministries that we hope to expand with this project: Eastbrook Academy High School classrooms, the Food Pantry, and how the West Building can help Eastbrook Church expand ministry on Sunday mornings and during the week

Please note that while construction is underway, parking in the back/West lot will be limited. We ask that regular attenders and members keep the front parking lot free for guests and those who need handicap parking. If you are able, please plan to park on city streets for the next 8 Sundays.
