Our staff is a hard-working, fun group of people. Our camp counselors are Christian high school or college students who are well trained by our staff, and have had input to planning our afternoon camp programming.
Camps are held rain or shine. We will be indoors with alternative activities if the weather infringes on our plans. Be sure to have your child dress for the weather and activities. We do get wet, sweaty and messy! Please put sunscreen/insect repellent on your child before bringing them to camp.
We will serve a snack every morning and afternoon. If your child has food allergies, be sure to note this on the registration form, under “Allergies and Special Concerns.” Kids attending both a morning and an afternoon camp need to register for “Lunch Hour.” This is a supervised lunch and playground period, and the cost is $10 per week. We do not provide lunch—please pack lunches, labeled with your child’s name.
Please be sure to only sign your children up for the camps they are eligible to participate in. Please register your children only for camps in their current grade level — their grade for the 2024-25 school year is the grade to use. Most camps have enrollment limits and campers will be processed in the order they are received.
We want every child to have a great time at camp, and to be included in all activities to the best of their abilities. If your child requires special assistance, please let us know by describing their needs in the “Allergies or Special Concerns” area of the registration form. Also, contact Tom Thoburn, NextGen Accessibility Coordinator, with any questions or to help us prepare to work with your child.
VBS fee is $35. All other camp fees are $50 for each camp (Exceptions: Ready, Set, Eat is $60 due to the buying of food, and Camp Onward is $75 per week to help pay for field trips). Lunch hour — for those registered for both a morning and afternoon camp of the same week — is $10/week. Registration is open until camp is full, up until the first day of camp. You may register the first day of camp if there are openings. Refunds will not be given, as materials and staffing are arranged based on the number of registered campers.
We do our best to provide a safe environment for all of our campers and workers. For this reason, we ask that you do not drop off your child earlier than 5 minutes before camp begins (morning or afternoon). VBS Check-in will take place on the landing just outside the Worship Hall (Enter through the lobby doors.) Check-in for all other camps will take place on the north side of the Eastbrook Academy building (between school and playground). Our electronic check-in stations will print out a name tag for your child and a claim ticket for you or your caregiver. At the end of every session of camp, please pick up your child on the playground, and sign out with your child’s counselor. Please inform camp staff if anyone else will be picking up your child from camp.
We provide groups and events for young children in an effort to help them grow in their knowledge of who God is.
We create spaces for kids to encounter Jesus through worship, prayer, and by sharing their insights and questions in an accepting environment.
Eastbrook Middle exists for community, discipleship, and a good dose of fun.
Eastbrook’s High School ministry offers students opportunities to mature in their faith and connect with God, their peers, and the wider community through service and social events.
