What are your responsibilities at Eastbrook?
As Small Groups Coordinator, I get to oversee both the administrative and pastoral sides of small groups. It is a privilege to help new people find their place at Eastbrook and get connected into a small community. I check in with small group leaders, make sure they have the support they need, and connect them with mentors. I also oversee small group events and leader training.
What do you love about what you do?
Having moved around a lot, I know firsthand how hard it can be to get connected in a new place, and am passionate about helping people find their feet in a new community. I also know that sometimes life happens in such a way that we can lose our connection even when we’ve been around for a long time. I love seeing people thrive as they connect in, build community, and grow in their faith. Small groups are a great way to do this, and I love that I get to help facilitate that!
