Small groups are gatherings of about 10 people that meet together on a regular basis. Each small group is unique in many ways including their demographic makeup, meeting location, and meeting frequency. However, they all share a unified purpose to grow in their relationship with God, support and encourage each other, pray with and for each other, and live life on mission together.
Overall, Eastbrook Small Groups exist to connect Eastbrookers to God and each other for the purpose of Community (IN), Discipleship (UP), and Mission (OUT).
We host launch events four times per year, in January, April, July, and October. At these events, we start new small groups, allowing everyone to begin their group experience at the same time. Sunday Adult Classes deepen our familiarity with the living, active Word of God to also deepen our relationship with Him. Join us each semester for a variety of interactive and discussion-based classes on Sunday mornings (and this Winter/Spring, also on Wednesday nights!) that provide opportunity for fellowship, as well as Bible-centered learning.
Join anytime! Sunday Adult Classes are open to all.
Using the Prepare and Enrich assessment as our main resource, Eastbrook pastors meet with engaged couples to equip them with the tools needed for a lasting marriage. Premarital counseling is a requirement for couples desiring to be married at Eastbrook or by an Eastbrook pastor–either as a couple with a pastor or as part of a premarital class (when available). To register or receive more information, contact Jim Caler.
The Art of Marriage video event weaves together expert teaching, real-life stories, humorous vignettes, and more to portray the challenges and the beauty of God’s design for marriage. Six engaging video sessions are interspersed with projects for couples to complete throughout the course. We offer this series 2 times a year during the 9:30 am service (Once in Sept/Oct and Once in May/June). There is a small fee required to cover the cost of your couple’s workbooks.
To provide entry points into the process of growth as a disciple of Jesus Christ, our staff has put together four “Core Classes” as a way to give our members and attenders an introduction to these four pillars of faith: the church, discipleship, mission, and leadership.
The Accessibility & Belonging Ministry exists to make the gospel and our Adult programming available to all.
We know that your “next step” into the life of the church, serving, and your faith in Jesus Christ may look different. No matter if you have been walking with God for years, or if you are new to the journey of Christian faith, we hope that you will find your place in the life of our church family here at Eastbrook.
