Social connection is a fundamental human need—as essential to survival as food, water and shelter. According to the Surgeon General, an increase in isolation and loneliness in our country has reached epidemic proportions and has significant health consequences, including premature death, heart disease, stroke, anxiety, depression and dementia. Hear from Krishna DasGupta, MD, psychiatrist, who will offer psychological and spiritual strategies and recommendations. Dr DasGupta is a Wisconsin local who attended medical school and has practiced psychiatry here in the state. She is a Roman Catholic who is active at her parish and as a volunteer psychiatrist in two clinics. We hope you can join us!
