Porcupine Mountains
7th and 8th graders will brave backpacking through the picturesque Porcupine Mountains, hiking about 15 miles over 4 days. No backpacking experience is needed. We design these trips to help students really notice God, others, and themselves while we hike. This is also a fantastic stepping stone towards our longer, more difficult high school trips.
Please note that the following dates will be crucial to your students’ experience on this trip, and thus should be prioritized:
- Tuesday, May 26, 6 pm: Parent Meeting (online)
- Wednesday, June 24, 3:30-5:30 pm: Student training day (Doctor’s Park)
- Tuesday, July 14, 6 pm: Gear check at Church
The cost to participate is $125 per student, and registration is required.
