Bread of Healing Clinic

OUR MISSION: TO PROCLAIM + EMBODY
THE LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST IN THE CITY + THE WORLD

A neighborhood-based clinic for individuals with financial or other barriers to health care.

The Bread of Healing Clinic’s mission is to provide free healthcare to those who have financial barriers which prevents them from seeking medical care, particularly for chronic illnesses requiring ongoing medication.

But the clinic is meant for far more; it is a crossroads where patients, providers and volunteers can share each other’s burdens and see transformation take root both physically and spiritually, where they can help one another heal and find wholeness. In addition, it is an environment where Eastbrook members who work in the medical field can come and deepen their understanding and experience in providing holistic care to their patients, including prayer and spiritual encouragement.

It takes a team of dedicated people to bring hospitality, medical care, and spiritual care to our neighbors who come through our door at the Eastbrook Bread of Healing site.

Bread of Healing Clinics are located at Eastbrook Church, Cross Lutheran Church and Florist Clinic at Traveler’s Rest Ministries. Patients are seen by appointment only; the clinics are not set up for urgent care or walk-in services. Because of the great need in Milwaukee, there is a waiting list to become a new patient.
