Small Groups

Small groups provide a unique space for community, where you can begin to know, care and pray for a group of 6-12 people as you study the Bible and serve together.

Why Join a Small group?

Small groups are gatherings of about 10 people that meet together on a regular basis. Each small group is unique in many ways including their demographic makeup, meeting location, and meeting frequency. However, they all share a unified purpose to grow in their relationship with God, support and encourage each other, pray with and for each other, and live life on mission together.

Overall, Eastbrook Small Groups exist to connect Eastbrookers to God and each other for the purpose of Community (IN), Discipleship (UP), and Mission (OUT).

At Eastbrook, we believe it’s a vital part of every Christian’s journey to be connected in relationship with other Christians and Eastbrook Small Groups are a key way that happens.

“Every small group must have all five purposes in it. It must worship, it must fellowship, it must disciple, it must minister and it must do outreach. Small groups are not a program of the church—they are the church. It’s where koinonia takes place, where people care for each other, share life together, and grow in Christ. Only in authentic community can you have authentic love.”
– Rick Warren

How to Join:

We host events to “launch” new small groups four time per year, allowing everyone to begin their group experience at the same time.

Use the Groups Engine tool below to search through our existing groups and see if one might be a fit for you. You can sort by meeting location, day of week, time, or use the map feature to see which one is closest. Click on the contact person’s name to send a message directly to him or her indicating your interest or any questions you may have. You can send an inquiry and join a group at any time throughout the year.

Please note that locations on the map are approximations.

If you aren’t sure where to begin or have a broader inquiry, contact Small Groups Coordinator, Joanna Jotterand.
