  • It Took Courage (Nehemiah 6:15-16)

  3. Notice that the Prophet Nehemiah is actually not mentioned in this section at all. Why do you think that is and what do you think that means?
  4. Read Nehemiah 3:5. Why do you think the nobles of Tekoa wouldn’t work?
  5. Read Nehemiah 3:12. This passage makes note of a ruler named Shallum that repaired the next section “with the help of his daughters”.Why do you think this would be significant?
  6. Why do you think it was on God’s heart to rebuild the walls?
  7. Throughout this passage, the word phrase “next” or “next to him” appears. What do you think was on the mind of all these people that led them to work together?
