What Are We Multiplying?
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
- Who has most deeply influenced your life with God and what is it about them that most impacted you?
- This week we conclude our MissionsFest, “Multiply,” by exploring what it means to have the ‘factors’ of our life directed toward the ‘product’ of God’s glory on earth. Take a moment to quiet your mind and heart before God, then pray that He would speak to you before continuing with the study.
- The theme verse for this year’s MissionsFest is Habakkuk 2:14. Read that verse aloud. What do you think it means that the earth would be filled with knowledge of God’s glory like water covers the sea?
- If knowledge of God’s glory is like the “product” of multiplication we are aiming for in the church and the Christian life, what “factors” do you think are essential to moving toward that end?
- Now, read through some of the verses below and make your own list of key factors in multiplying toward the right product.
- Which of these do you think are most readily evident in your life? Which need the most growth in your life?
- What is one specific thing that God is speaking to you through this study? If you are with a small group, discuss that with one another and pray for one another. If you are studying on your own, write it down and share it with someone.
DIG DEEPER
- See the complete list of next steps on the MissionsFest booklet.
- Read through the entire book of Acts, asking the following questions:
- What does this tell us about who God is?
- What does this tell us about humanity?
- What does this tell us about our mission as God’s people?
