  • We have heard and seen of the tragedy unfolding in the Holy Land. Israeli civilians killed by Hamas. Palestinian civilians caught in the middle of the Israel and Hamas conflict. How did Jack’s presence with us last week help you better understand this situation? How can you be praying for the people involved and the Christians faithfully serving in this difficult season?
  • How can we be involved in ways that move beyond our surrounding culture’s pattern of responding in a polarizing or political manner? How can we as Christ-centered Disciples respond and pray? What role does the Gospel have in restoring this broken land?

Our Next Chapter:

  • As you look back on your own life, how have you seen God write a story through your • As you look at Eastbrook’s story of missions, what are the areas you are thankful for, that you hope we ensure move with us into this next chapter? Any parts we shouldn’t?

From Everywhere to Everywhere:

  • Have you personally experienced this shift in missions or our church? What have been some of those experiences?
  • Have you had the chance to meet and know national workers? People serving Jesus who are from other cultures or countries? Share some stories of how you saw God move through them.

Missions this Year:

  • If your group has not had the chance to before, share about the various ways you are each involved in missions.
  • Share about where or how you feel God calling you into missions in the coming year. In your neighborhood, your city, your world? How can others be praying for you?
